What a discovery this was to be at the place for which the famous cheese was created at. The Monastery was breathtaking to behold and the grounds peaceful and serene to stroll. Did not attempt to go into buildings. The location is host to mountain bike trails with significant levels of difficulty but fun as well located on the property is a walkable stream.

Great place for off-road cycling with marked tracks and best place for some one who need a little more fun. And good place to take some nice fotos if you in to it. Need to be careful about the cycle tracks if you are on foot.
Don't miss big pieces of history. Ex woman monastery with cheese factory. \u003c\u003cOka\u003e\u003e. Now hauberge with bistro and velo piste. Yoga and more all for woman. Monastery closed for living there. Bistro place functional. Greet place to see ex woman monastery. Don't miss. Big Piece of history.

Awesome place to ride your mountain bike! Also, the food at the L'abbaye d'oka is a great place to eat after a long ride!
Great osso bucco at the bistro, but ownership change expected in next few days. Stay tuned.

I wouldn't call it an Auberge it's not comfortable and small room. If you are looking for a spiritual retreat it may be a good place for you but there is nothing romantic sleeping there
