I took in two steel brackets that need their mounting surfaces replaced. It was agreed by the project manager that the work had to be done precisely if all of the fastening holes were to line up in the final assembly. One bracket was done well. The other was botched. Four of the six holes in the botched plate were not drilled in the correct positions. What is more, the new plate was on a different plane than the original. So that the bracket no longer sits flat against the surface it is mounted to. Rather than redo the work, they only offered to re-drill the holes oversize. Two of these would have to have been 50% larger than the fasteners. To correct the plane problem, they offered to weld shims to the plate. These brackets are under heavy load and subject to significant shock. I told them their solution would compromise the complete assembly. Their next offer was to quote me a price for making a new bracket. They did not offer to build it free of charge. If a new bracket is to be made, why would I trust them to do it properly? So I declined and asked for a credit of 50% from the bill, which they refused. Everyone makes mistakes. But when mistakes are made, they should be acknowledged and corrective action should be taken.

I had some plates made for some concrete deck piers. They were beyond perfect. Done ahead of time, dimensionally accurate and the pricing was accurate to the quote.
I had some atv controll arms powder coated here. The customer service is great! As well as the quality of work. These Controll arms get run through long grass fields as well as have rocks and small stones thrown at them at high offroad speeds. They have stood up too all of that abuse with minor scuffs I have had powder done at a few places in the kingston area but would reccomend having it done here if you want it to last.
