Great little place for a fast soup and sandwich lunch. The menu changes daily, and you can sample the soups before deciding. Generally friendly and nice staff, if you're a regular they get to know you. Can be a bit busy for the lunch rush, but otherwise is generally quick service, and you can always order ahead online for either sit down or take out.
Ask them to show you the actual ingredients in the soups. They keep the ingredients in a booklet and will show you only when you ask for it. The soups are loaded with MSG (what they call natural flavoring), preservatives and other strange chemicals. The soups seam to be coming straight out of cans. The cut and texture of the ingredients also indicates them being factory made. If you think eating this soup is a healthy choice, you might not live long enough to learn what healthy eating means.
Great variety of soups to choose from. The owner was very friendly and explained everything nicely. The good thing was that we could get samples of different soups before deciding which one to get. The price is reasonable for the portion sizes and the seating area is very nice, spacious and clean. After sampling different soups we got the seafood soup which was extraordinarily delicious and filling. The meat based soups are not halal, however the wraps and subs can be customized to include halal chicken upon request. Definitely coming back again !!
I come here from time to time and the soup is great! The lobster Bisque is hands down the best! the chicken Thai curry is pretty good too! It looks like they changed management recently and have all new staff so it takes a longer time to get your meal as people are in training, but they are doing their best. I will still keep coming here.
Amazing Soup! Love the unlimited free samples, so you can be sure of the soup that is right for you for that day. Only been there a few times, but I'm always looking for excuses to go back again!
I hadn't visited the place in a year and, unfortunately, this location is a shell of it's former self. They were out of supplies. Everyone's soup was cold (they were able to reheat it in their microwave). The sandwich filling was sparse, although the bread was nice. However, I will try them again if I encounter Zoup at a different location. While we couldn't enjoy our last visit, I do enjoy their soup recipes.
The staff is great, Alex was working last time I was in and he was a great help, very considerate. We tried leaving a tip, but apparently it's not allowed. The soup is also delicious, there's a lot of different flavours to try
