Good for kids
Stan was recommended by close friends and we remain grateful for their recommendation. My son really enjoys his lessons with Stan and his knowledge has developed considerably over the last year. The switch from in person lessons to online lessons was seamless in the wake of COVID and helped keep some sense of routine for our teenager. He enjoys practicing and is excited to talk with Stan about songs he has heard and wants to learn to play. Stan has also helped provide guidance on guitar and equipment purchases, which is much appreciated. Stan is highly professional, knowledgeable and personable. Highly recommend.

I came to Stan having no experience in playing the guitar in May 2020. Stan has helped me improve my playing and understand music along the way. Looking back and thinking where I began and where I am now I am incredibly happy with my progress. In addition to my improvement, despite times being different during COVID, Stan has been able to teach me just as much as he would be able to in person, over zoom. He has the right technology and excellent communication. I would highly recommend Oakville Guitar Academy to anyone looking to begin or improve their guitar learning.
Stan has a great way of keeping you interested and engaged providing a great blend of fundamental instruction and song playing. Excellent approach which translates well in person, where we started, to online, where we are now. Highly recommend.
Stan does an excellent job of combining fundamentals with a wide ranging music repertoire and things that are fun to play. For a good all-round relationship with your guitar get Stan to show you the way!!
Stan is amazing teacher, very knowledgeable, patient, and has a very good approach with kids. My son is very particular when it comes to guitar lessons and he's very happy with Stan.

Stan rocks... quite literally... we relocated to Canada in mid 2017 and I wanted to find a fun and new hobby for our son and myself. Following great recommendations Stan visited our home and gave an introductory lesson... his style instantly engaged my 7 year old and I... fun, patient and truly knowledgeable in many genres and learning techniques... since then we look forward to our Saturday morning sessions with Stan. For our son, he makes every session fun and interesting and he is already playing a number pieces solo... for me... I have little practice time, travel and work... so Stan flexes his style to ensure that I continue to feel like I am making progress and continue to enjoy learning... he is patient beyond imagination and is a truly authentic guy... fully accommodating to lesson changes at short notice... if you are seeking lessons for adults or children don't hesitate to give him a try...
