What a wonderful experience! I never give a 5-star rating, but it is warranted here. I had a negative experience at another business in Oakville and decided to check out Cliff's through a friend's referral. The location is easy to find with plenty of parking. The store is extremely organized, well laid out and lots of products and parts readily available. I interacted with three staff members on two separate occasions who were all friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I came in to have the blade sharpened (10) and pick up oil and filter to do my own basic maintenance. The cost of the oil was within range of Home Depot and Canadian Tire, but the cost of the identical filter was cheaper! 11.20 at Canadian Tire and 7 here. The blade was heavily rusted when I brought it in and it was returned sharpened and excess rust removed. I am not mechanically inclined and staff took their time to thoroughly answer my questions about changing the oil, extracting contaminated gas, what type of gas to use and how to properly store it over the winter. I've worked in customer and client service for decades and this was a great experience.
