Nina is an absolute wizard. Her mind works so incredibly well that she's able to understand the engineering and structure of a piece of clothing with one glance. I've used her services for my wedding gown, a bridesmaid dress, and various alterations of dress pants/skirts/dresses. She's kind, approachable and a really hardworker. I would recommend Nina to anyone, and am always impressed with her workmanship.

I can't speak highly enough of Nina's skill for tailoring and strong enthusiasm for fashion! I have been going to Nina for many years for everything from hemming everyday pants to making sure my bridesmaid dress fit just right. Not only is she understanding of personal taste, she is also a trusted and honest advisor. Nina cares very deeply for each client and every visit is like catching up with a dear friend!
As I always describe Nina to people, she is my fairy godmother. Nina makes dreams come true. Five years ago while vintage shopping, I found an old simple ivory dress that I loved even though it did not fit properly. I have been storing it away for many years fantasizing about how I could turn it into a wedding dress. I finally took it to Nina and she totally supported me and drew up a design to show me how we could turn it into the perfect wedding dress for me. Nina told me where to go shopping to find beautiful and affordable lace and a petticoat. She was always so professional, kind, and prompt with replying back to any question I had. My multiple dress fittings were always so much fun at her home where she always instilled confidence in me regarding her artistry with the different stages of the dress-making. Nina even ironed my mother-in-law’s old veil for free that I will be wearing. I am left with the most magical dress and the most fun memories of this creative process. Thank you Nina for helping me with the wedding dress that found me.
