We have been shopping at Pusateris for over 30 years. Normally we are fine with paying premium prices as the food quality is normally well above average. Not sure what's happening there this year, but we had a rack of ribs that had clearly gone bad, we got a box of mandarin oranges where half the oranges were past their prime, and we bought the house tomato's sauce and it had clearly turned. You would think they would be turning their inventory faster with everyone having to do their own cooking. We're going to shop elsewhere until we're sure they have their quality issues under control.

Two stars because (1) the girl who called me and went through my lengthy online order was so helpful and sweet; and (2) for the ease of ordering online and getting it delivered for a relatively low price. However, I spent 2200 on a delivery order and received several EXPIRED items (3x olive oils priced at 44.99 each, all expiring in the next two weeks), as well as over 10 items all expiring within a month. These are pantry items priced at over 15 each, which typically have expirations of 2 years. Store needs to do a better job at ensuring freshly stocked products, especially when the prices are inflated because it's being sold at \Pusateri's\. At least offer a discount for items expiring in the next month! Seriously, why did I pay 15 for pancake mix that is expiring in 1 month?

RUDE Feb, 10 9:30am approx. went into store & South East Asian man RUDELY in a RAISED VOICE said \USE sanitizer\. I said I had gloves on & (instead of explaining nicely) SHOUTED LOUDER \USE SANITIZER - YOU HAVE to use sanitizer\. Walked out. Will not purchase Pusateri's OVERpriced items in the future. (Remember how they Price GOUGHED 1 sanitizer for 7 at the beginning of Covid?) SHAME SHAME SHAME

I'm reviewing the fish mongers in pusateri's, they're actually owned by Seven seas and staffed by that company. I get 1lbs of sushimi grade salmon there once a week, I always ask for the skin to be removed, and to my continued frustration only I guys knows how to remove the skin without butchering my fish. When you eat raw fish , you never want any skin on it. I told the girl cut up my fish, she had left skin on, but they don't listen. Everyone can use a knife vertically, the fish mongers skill is to use it horizontally and fillet correctly Pics will explain what I mean.
