I have rented from Gold Seal for over 7 years and they have been great. I appreciate the friendly and professional service from the Superintendent to the Property Manager. The rent is reasonable, the building is well maintained and they are super easy to deal with and really want to work with their tenants rather than against them. Would highly recommend!

Roaches, mouse, slow to repair. Notifications are threatening in nature to your rental stability. They get you to sign paperwork without letting you know the back of the paper is printed with cost of repairs you will be liable for. Harrassment by paperwork to get you to do what they want. You will have to pay even to throw out large items from your apartment in the garbage. They will take away your discount and increase your rent in order to force you to move out. You will live under constant surveillance.You'll never feel at ease living under this management company.
I really enjoy living at 10 Trudelle Street. The superintendent John is always cleaning, he has a super chill but still professional demeanour and is extremely knowledgable and helpful. Anytime I need anything I can always rely on my super or Simon the property manager. It’s odd that someone said the building is infested with bedbugs because I’ve lived here for almost 7 years and I’ve never seen one. It’s a really small quiet building and all the tenants are really polite, respectful and helpful each other. Its a very spacious 2 bedroom apartment with a decent size storage closet in the unit itself. The rent is fair priced and its pet friendly which is super important! I LOVE IT HERE!
Rented at 2243 Eglinton East for 3 years, no major concerns. Older building, nice large 2 bedroom unit was nice and real close to Kennedy Station. The super has always been friendly, responsive and timely to respond to repair requests and general building maintenance. The management group at the office were helpful and transparent when we first took occupancy of the unit and were flexible and understanding during our departure from the unit. Although, we were not significantly burdened by the COVID pandemic, I was glad to see the management put out several options for payment plans for rent for those who were impacted by the many layoffs. I have friends who's landlords were not so lenient and understanding. Rent is quite fair actually in comparison to the rest of the city. I would rent from them again should I be looking for a rental unit.
The property manager Simon would be the worst person to talk to. Even the notices we get regarding maintenance do not have any politeness in request. He is always very rude on call. The phone just rings on other extensions without any reply ever.
