The food is so reasonably priced, especially for kosher, and is excellent. We thought the portions for the lunch special would be tiny but they're not. They have some original dishes which you don't get at all the other kosher dairy restaurants - like risotto. Once we waited for a long time for our food so the waitress gave us a free salad even though we hadn't complained. A great addition to the Toronto kosher scene.
I Love Anchovies, Sardines, Pine-nuts and Pasta. But combine those things together with a new cook who does not know the dish or even include all of the ingredients on the description from the menu AND overcooks the pasta (in a pasta restaurant). I can only imagine that is what cat food tastes like. The owner asked me to give the restaurant another chance before i wrote an online review BUT i never got a chance because the place closed. Rest In Peace Ba-Li Italiano P.S. The salad and tiramisu was so good i almost made this review 2 stars. ALMOST.
Good location, great food and very nice waitress. My mom took me out for lunch there and we were both extremely impressed. (Go with the fish and chips with the sweet potato fries).
