Unlike most stores selling groceries, this store charges 5 cents for each shopping beg during COVID. This despite the fact that the store charges much more for many items than other stores including Whole Foods. Fir example, they charge about 1 (20%) more for Oat Milk. The store offers 1 hour free parking in the underground parking. When I was in (about 1pm), there were very few customers in the store and plenty of polite employees. Dear owners, This store is the one stop shop for everything!! I have been going to this store for over 30 years. Best heath food store in the city! Great prices, the store looks beautiful. Sad I can’t bring my reusable jars anymore but I can understand. Also such a huge selection of vitamins, skincare, snacks, bulk, etc. My go to place and just love exploring the aisles! Great selection of health & organic products and foods! Also great prices. Parking underground .
Beware of the underground parking rules. You probably won't see the sign about acquiring and displaying a parking slip, because when you drive in that sign is placed on the side, not in front of you. Depending on where you park you might not see any parking slip machines either. Also, they possibly see you on cameras and give you the ticket immediately after you leave which makes me think this arrangement is intentional. Ambrosia management have to protect their customers and display a reminder to get a parking slip right near the entrance to the store.
I was not a fan of this place as the staff were very rude and not service oriented.. I noticed an improvement in how cashiers greet you and overall friendliness of the staff. A bit pricey but if you are into healthy options and good alternatives, this is a great place.
