I broke my ankle in 4 places and Dr Kostas was assigned as my surgeon. I know it was a difficult case and I saw him in the late afternoon (worst time- when everyone’s hungry and tired) but he and his team did a fantastic job in spite of the surgery being more complex than anticipated. Communication with his office through Jo, has been timely and responsive. Thank you for that!! My only minor criticism is that it would be helpful have a hand out for post surgical care: what can you do, what shouldn’t you do, gray areas etc.. Dr Kostas does go over things,but it’s easy to forget. So, if you end up in his office, you probably screwed up majorly somehow but be assured you’re in skilled hands. Thanks Doc!
Showed up an hour late to the appointment, did two seconds of examination and ran out. Had to keep asking what should I be doing to better my knee. . Don't waste your time here. 2nd update to this post: I call the office to confirm my appointment, give the lady on the phone my care card number, she finds my account, confirms appointments, I then ask does the doctor have my MRI? She goes no, I ask can you get it please, she goes sure, for what body part did you have the MRI done? !!!!!!!! Does it not say on my record why the doctor is seeing me? He's already supposedly seen me once, and they have no record of what body part I have problems with! just great, just great! Stay away from this doctor, they only care about and not your health!
This doctor has no respect for time. Had an appointment at 1:00pm and he arrived at 2:30pm. The staff at the cast clinic at lionsgate hospital are very rude and did not have the courtesy of informing the clients that they were running late. Doctor arrived without apologizing and not even taking into account that he has made his patients wait for an hour and a half. This is pathetic. He didn’t even know why he operated on my mum. He was unsure. Very sad. He should have looked at her reports more closely.
