A local North Shore company serving the marine community with integrity in their work, I couldn't be more satisfied with Marisol Marine as my go-to marine company of choice for my boats. Recently, they have undergone an ownership change and honestly, while that is normally a time of turmoil in a transition, Since Steven Rogers came on board, I can't say enough about how comfortable I feel, now continuing to bring my vintage boats to Marisol Marine. A North Shore proud female vintage boat owner, I'm happy to keep my business local. Thanks for your excellent ethics, knowledge and character Marisol Marine.

I was very happy with the service Steven gave me but not particularly happy with the threat

The previous owner of my single engine 31ft. power boat blew up its transmission by throwing it into reverse gear while at cruising speed (he apparently had meant to pull back on the throttle). The transmission housing cover shattered, along with other catastrophic damage to the unit. Rather than replace the cover of the transmission, Rudy at Marisol GLUED it back together (see photo). After I bought the boat, while in the middle of the Strait of Georgia in rough seas and a 20 knot wind, the cover failed, with transmission oil spilling out of the top of the unit. My wife and I were stranded with no propulsion and had to be towed to safety at considerable expense and it cost me over 1000 to repair the transmission, including proper sourcing and installation of a proper housing cover (which has a critical bearing on its underside). To this day we are both severely traumatized by this experience. We could have died as a result of Marisol's criminal negligence! Buyer beware... you could be taking your life in your hands by dealing with Marisol and Rudy in particular. How he can sleep at night is a complete mystery to us.

The service is terrible, they can't even be bothered to call you about your repair.
