You won't find another store with owners and staff who live and breathe the sports they support like Coast Outdoors. I purchased my brand new Think Uno Max surfski (and a paddle, drysuit and other bits of paddle gear) from them this year and it was nothing short of the best retail experience I have had. Good advice, fair pricing, incredible service, and a level of post purchase support that is above and beyond what I have ever experienced. Even if you aren't in their immediate area, it's worth the trip to go see them.
The staff was super helpful... great selection. We bought our first paddle board through Coast Outdoors last week and they were so helpful. They didn’t try and up sell us... even mailed us the deck bungee when we realized the board didn’t come with one. We don’t live in Vancouver but I can tell you we will absolutely be buying our next SUP there. Maybe even let them hype my dream of paddle surfing!!! Thanks to everyone at Coastal Outdoors.
Very nice shop. Especially if you are into sea/touring kayaks, paddle boards, and surfskis. Also had two antique wood kayaks.....neat!!
