Kudos and thumbs up to the management and staff of Churchill House! They have always been excellent, but the management and staff have pulled together to make this covid time safe and healthy for us. We haven’t had an outbreak. Staff is kind, patient and understanding. They go above and beyond to make special occasions shine, despite having to work around the current restrictions. In my opinion, Churchill House is the benchmark for all retirement residences to meet. Thanks everyone!

We moved my elderly father into Chartwell Churchill House a few months ago and I have been completely blown away by the kindness and support from both the incredible staff and the residents! I couldn't be happier and more grateful for the opportunity for our family to become part of this wonderful community. Everyone has been so helpful and welcoming! All of the staff are amazing - kind, patient, friendly, caring and supportive. I want to name each one individually but afraid I will leave someone out. If you are looking for a retirement home for a loved one, I highly recommend Chartwell Churchill House. There are many great photos on the website and I have uploaded a few from my Dad's suite to show how we have been able to re-create his home there. He has settled in beautifully, enjoys the wonderful meals, has made new friends and is safe and happy. He recently celebrated his 90th birthday, and the staff arranged a wonderful celebration to honour him. Thanks again to everyone at Churchill House!!

Our grandmother has called Chartwell Churchill House Retirement Residence home for the last 3 years. The Residence is clean, the rooms are spacious and the staff exceptional. We just celebrated our grandmother's 100 birthday (with COVID restrictions). The manager and staff really helped my family and I make this momentous day special for our grandmother. Thank you!

My mother had been at Churchill House for the last 5 years. As her oldest daughter (family of 8 kids)and main caregiver (POA)I have been on Mom’s amazing journey throughout these years at Churchill House and have only great things to say. Mom had been really well taken care of especially this last year as her health was rapidly declining until her recent passing. At the age of almost 95 years my Mom was able to participate in the many activities-bingo/exercise/crafts/various exciting entertainment brought in/bus rides to the malls were only a view to mention. This past year with Covid unfortunately most activities had to be discontinued but the staff have done more than their best to keep Mom and the other residents as comfortable and entertained as safely possible from within the premises. Hopefully this Spring most activities can be continued again. The staff have been wonderful in making Mom feel cared for and comfortable and safe. The choices of meals are incredible and flexible. The various celebrations throughout the year have been done with lots of decorations and thoughtful little surprises. Cleanliness and maintenance have been first class especially throughout this past year. So far with the incredible professional and conscientious hard work of the staff there have been no Covid cases. So to sum it all up when we had to make the challenging decision when Mom needed extra help in her daily living situation where we felt Mom would be happy, safe, stimulated and made welcome we were so happy that we chose Churchill House and never looked back! We’ll always be very thankful for all the staff has done for our Mom.

The exact moment when I realized the pandemic was \changing life as I knew it\ was on the afternoon of Sunday March 15, 2020... the day I was told my Dad's care home was being closed to all visitors the next day. How exactly would my 87-yr old Dad survive without our daily visits? It had only been 8 months since our mum had passed, and we now realized how much she had done to care for our dear father, even as her own health diminished. It was a terrifying thought that Dad would be all alone in his apartment to fend for himself. Luckily the Churchill House staff have been phenomenal, & Dad's home has not had a single Covid exposure. In the first few days of lockdown, I called Dad to check-in & managed to speak with an aide named Keyvan, who was also checking in on Dad. I will never forget Keyvan's comforting words to me --- \Your father is now MY father. Please do not worry\. I hoped that Keyvan could understand my choked up \thank you so much\. I will be forever grateful to Keyvan and all of the other wonderful Churchill House staff.
