This business is currently running by unethical people. We booked our vacation but the City went into lock down. The host ignored all request to change date or partial refund. During the pandemic, this is no way to treat your fellow citizen. Hope everyone be very careful with them. Hope someone from the inside would do something to change.

We've all said it before: "It's a five-star vacation rentals!" But what exactly does that mean? We have pre-paid for our reservation, however Covid-19, so government do not allow we start our journey, but this vacation rental did not return our money!
My family book for a vacation here. But the COVID-19 was rapidly increasing, the government did not allow it to go to other areas than where we lived. And we asked management get the money back. but they did not respond. And don't pay back. Everyone please be wary and careful with the service here. they cheated.
I would rate 0 star or even lower if possible for this place. We were hoping to bring the kids to spend a weekend at this beautiful property, but unfortunately it has now become one of the very worst experiences for us dealing with the host and Airbnb. We originally booked for a travel date beyond the travel restrictions but then provincial lock down was extended and caused BC Ferry, which was our only means of transportation to get to the island, to cancel. We asked the host for a cancelation with refund and was declined promptly. That we could definitely understand, as it was only a matter of courtesy and thoughtfulness of the host, not that the host was bounded by any rules. However, when we asked to have our dates postponed, we felt like the host purposely made it difficult and frustrating for our group. Not only that they started to slowed down to reply our message but also declined to officially change our reservation's date through Airbnb. We were suggested to "deal with them directly" without knowing who they are actually and any source of insurance. They asked us to provide them with our credit card information and any payment forward to be paid directly to host, which made us felt very much like backed into a corner. While we report to Airbnb of this violation, Airbnb promised only to "escalate" the issue and we have not got the issue resolved. Our big amount of money had been paid and withhold by the host, rearrangement for our travel date is not guaranteed, and also all of our excitement for first summer trip with kids had been casted under such disappointment. Being Airbnb host ourselves, we find this unaccommodating attitude of the host strangely disturbed. This kind of host only concern about getting money from guest's pocket. Strongly NOT recommend this place
