I cannot thank Francine and Maria enough for their excellent service. During such a difficult time putting our baby girl Kodah down, they were there for us every step of the way. We made the decision to lay our baby girl to rest on the morning of July 11, 2020 and they were at our house by 2:30pm the same day. The quick turn around time made it much easier for us. They are sincere and compassionate and I thank you so much for what you do!
This is somewhere no pet owner wants to be, but I can honestly say they do the best at treating you with compassion, empathy and respect in this hard time. In the last year I had to say goodbye to 3 of my dogs due to old age, and bringing them here after always brought me peace. The owners are fantastic people. From the bottom of my heart I thank you so much for your support and compassion during this hard time.
Dixie, our dog, succumbed to breast cancer yesterday. We called Paws At Rest to have her cremated. Francine and Maria were so compassionate and understanding. They made a very difficult situation easier to handle. Thank you for the service you provide and the way you provide it. I would recommend Paws At Rest for anyone who has to deal with the end of life of their beloved pet.
We simply can't express how incredibly fortunate and grateful we are to have found Francine and Maria by simply calling Paws At Rest. After 14 loving years, we had to say goodbye to our beloved chocolate lab, \Lily\. On a Saturday morning, we called, overwhelmingly saddened by the fact that we knew it was going to be our last day with our dear friend and by the end of the day, Francine and Maria had taken care of every detail needed during this terribly sad stage. We chose individual cremation for Lily and by the end of the week were able to retrieve her remains by visiting Paws At Rest in North Gower. At the Paws At Rest facility, we were greeted by several happy dogs (they have 7 pets of their own and a very popular boarding service too) and were then ushered into a warm, quiet room where a beautiful table was set with special keepsakes (a framed photo of Lily, engraved brass plaque, a candle and poems with her remains centered in a silk pouch). All incredibly touching and, to our great surprise, the very artistic Maria even took the time render an incredible sketch of Lily on the velvet table underlay. We can say with absolute certainty that the compassion and sincerity Francine and Maria provide is the very best that a grieving pet owner could have. This isn't simply a business for them...they're kind and warm and love helping others. We're forever thankful they were here for us!
