I'm new to Birchwood, and have been happy with the service and care the owners have taken to ensure our enjoyment and safety of the park. The owners have recently removed a guest from the park due to their unleashed (and aggressive) dog as well as some questionable activities with their guests. This is a true family park and it is nice to see zero tolerance when their rules are not adhered to. Thank you to the owners for their concern and quick response to the issue. My family and I look forward to a quiet rest of the summer enjoying the family focused atmosphere of Birchwood.

We were only there for three short weeks but that was long enough. It literally was the worst experience my family and I have ever had at any campground. The owners were far from professional. On two occasions I was in my trailer changing clothes and one of the owners, Brett tapped quietly on my trailer door and quickly opened the door and stepped inside before i even hàd a chance to respond. Same owner, Brett and his son Ryan drank excessively every night to the point of being drunk. Visited our camping site in this condition nightly and became quite \handsy\ if you know what I mean. When it was time for us to leave Brett went on his own volition and hooked up his tractor to our trailer and took the liberty of moving it . Neither my husband or myself gave him permission to do anything like that. Nothing in the trailer was tied down or even put away. The damage he created moving that trailer was extensive. Not to mention all the food from the fridge and freezer that spoiled because he had unplugged the entire trailer in order to move it in front of his office. His reason for doing this: he wanted to make sure his 487.00 bill got paid. The hoops he made us jump through just to retrieve our boat from the water in front of his property was straight up rediculous. I would never recommend this campgrond to anyone.
