This was probably one of the most memorable show I have ever watched and enjoyed. Now I understand why Shaw Festival is very famous in Canada. It's really one of the show you can compare to the one in Broadway. The theater is clean and they have at least four different theaters with four different shows throughout the entire season. It's easy to reach from Fort George parking lot and there's a cafe inside to complete your experience.

Beautiful facility! The gardens and terraces are incredible, the cafe offers a wide variety of well priced foods. The theatre itself is well pitched so there is no bad seat. It's comfortable and inviting. It's walking distance to downtown NOTL with all its charm. People dress both casually and dressy and it just makes for a wonderfully inviting atmosphere. It feels like a luxury with the comfort of your favourite t-shirt.

One of the best theater experiences you will ever have, the Shaw Festival's acting troupe are highly talented and the plays are varied from fun to deep and thought-provoking. There are different educational opportunities like the four-day Shaw Seminar where you can delve deeper into the playwright's mindset, the history of the production and the deeper meaning behind the plays. Visiting Phd's in literature, etc give talks, actors and directors provide insight and your days are filled with six plays to satisfy your theater-loving obsession. In addition, you will love the charming little town where the Festival is located. Niagara-on-the-Lake is in Canada's Niagara wine region where you can also go to wine tastings at many local wineries and enjoy gourmet meals at their highly-rated restaurants. There is plenty of shopping in this lovely town, and many historical sites to enjoy in the area. You can rent bicycles to get some fresh air, and you can stop at many a fruit stand for delicious produce from the Niagara farmers. There are many hotels and B&B's from which to choose, but please make sure to reserve your vacation well in advance or just be flexible, because those already in the know reserve up to a year in advance to have their preferred itinerary with repeat stays at favorite hotels and already purchased theater tickets. Go once, and you will become a regular yourself!

Wonderful place to visit and see some of the best live theatre out there now.The town is lovely and caters to the crowd. Lots of restaurants and pubs for a pre show or post show drink. The flowers and park settings provide a great way to spend some time to walk and talk.

I went there to see the finale of The Magician's Nephew. It was a nice place, really cute neighborhood with store front boutiques and a diverse range of restaurants. Event parking can be found at the theatre, noth sides of the street just past the theatre or a few streets down in a larger paid lot (follow the green parking signs). The intermission snacks weren't all that expensive either. But the wine glasses were a bit small
