A little gem outside of Niagara falls. I'm so glad we went here because the food was delicious. We stayed outside in the patio but the restaurant was also open indoor for dining. Wish there were some heater nearby given the chilly weather but the meal definitely made up for it. We ordered the chowder to start and although I'm not a fan of seafood, the chowder was delicious and hit the spot. Also ordered the pesto which came with shrimps and scallops, as well as the short ribs, which came with the Mac and cheese and coleslaw. The scallop was very sweet but the pasta was a tad bit undercooked. The ribs were generous in size and was definitely the winner. The coleslaw was flavourful and who can resist the Mac and cheese? We also ordered a bottle of wine on the side and a cheesecake for dessert. We were pleasantly surprised at how light the cheesecake was. A perfect end to the meal.

Every dish was delicious esp the short ribs - we loved the mac and cheese that came with it. Definitely get the big size clam chowder and start with some oysters or mussels. The lobster roll was stuffed with lobster. We had a great meal :)

The oysters were great! Tasted very fresh and for 32 for a dozen, it's not a bad price. Nicely packed too, with a huge bag of ice to keep them cool. We also ordered the lobster roll which was such a disappointment! It tasted flavourless with an interesting aftertaste. Something didn't taste right but it's hard to compare to Seattle's infamous lobster roll or the east coast ones. For 24, I'd pass on this. The most unexpected winner was Kats chowder! So much meat inside and it was so nicely thick, it went so well with the toasted bread they gave. For 13 for a large, it had great value! We called for a takeout and they were right on time at pickup. A little hiccup was that they didn't give us any cutlery which made it a bit difficult to eat the chowder and the salad that came with the roll.

A true hidden gem in Niagara. Fresh oysters with amazing sauces and truly enjoyable and pleasant service, they have a happy hour which makes the oysters 2 each. Tuna melt is good for toast lovers. Sad that we were the only people in the restaurant that day.

If I could give 6 or more stars, I would. The service, the quality of the food and the taste were outstanding. There are no words to describe how good the food is, just « wow ».
