We went to Amanda for our Christmas photos this year. She was great with our daughter. Her backdrops were so beautiful and our photos were as well. She mentioned she does a few different sessions in this style. So we can't go wait to back for more photos in the future.

I love the photos Amanda took of my family. She was so great with the kids, who almost always play shy with strangers. Amanda won them over quickly and got them to participate so well for photos. Not only was she great with the kids, but made my husband and myself feel relaxed in front of the camera. She came across as professional and skilled on top of being so kind. It made the session run very smooth. The photos are stunning, all of our friends and family comment on how beautiful they are.
She's very good at taking pictures of babies, but I went there for a Boudoir shoot and I wasn't very happy with the pictures. And then it took me weeks before I got the pictures from her after a Big mix up with what pictures I wanted. Definitely good for babies though.
I had contacted Amanda about photographing myself and my girlfriend as we were planning a trip Niagara Falls and I was wanting to propose. Amanda was amazing on the phone with me. I had a lot of questions and Amanda took the time to listen to me and answer everything. She knew lots about the area and had done lots of these types of arrangements and worked under similar conditions before. GREAT! She was full of lots of ideas and explained how everything would work so my gf wouldn't figure anything out before hand. Leading up to the day, Amanda and myself exchanged some emails and a few more calls, all of which Amanda was very patience with me. The day of we came up to the spot Amanda had told me about and it was perfect! It was a great wide view of the falls, with lots of room to work in.The view was INCREDIBLE! I don't think I could have picked a better place if I tried. Amanda was very discreet leading up to the moment, my now fiance had no clue Amanda was there, snapping away until after the fact which is what I was hoping for! My fiance was shocked/happy there was a photographer there. Afterwards Amanda lead us through the park and showed up some great locations for some mores staged photo to commemorate the day.We ended up with lots of photos of the falls and the gardens and some city stuff as well which was nice and well rounded. We got everything as a backdrop. Our photos look amazing! They have some amazing colors and we look great. My fiance looks so happy. Very professionally handled and they were delivered fast. They came in a neat and private online gallery which was convenient for showing our friends and family. Overall I am very happy with how everything has handled and Amanda's work. And so is my fiance.
Amanda is one creative young lady. She takes new born pictures, weddings, cake smash, Christmas, and Easter with bunnies, I would recommend Amanda and Icing Sugar Photography she is also lots of fun to work with. Sincerely Brenda & Bruce Vandersluys.
