Rude guy at the counter. I inquired about his stock of longfiller cigars and he said that he did not have that brand. Asked whether I could take a peak at the assortment. Guy opened the door with a heavy sigh, did not allow me to take a good look, closed the door and said 'now you know'. Never go here, I'd rather drive half an hour to Cigar Bodega in Unionville where the staff is knowledgeable and kind.
I waited for everyone to finish their lotto/visit before asking if I could buy a zippo from the cabinet for a friend. Buddy says sure no problem then proceeds to walk over and give a pipe-presentation to the guy who just walked in while inquiring out loud where the pipes are. Even the customer was trying to tell the guy to help me! Expected service is nearly guaranteed at any convenience store and its because it’s very simple....you couldn’t even manage that!
Small shop but has nice smokes
Have bought cigars here for a few years now, and the owner i have seen many times and purchased cigars off him. Today i go into the store looking for a cigar, give him my ID as per usual, He claims to remember me after i tell him i come all the time and show him my ID every time. Then proceeds to ask me which cigar i want . I tell him i want to see what's there (like I usually do, at his store, and EVERY cigar store i have been too) and he tells me i can't look rudely, and asks me which cigar i was looking for specifically ( Generally don't have x-ray vision and can see through the humidor doors) Rude, unprofessional, and absolutely will never step foot in that shop and I would advise the same to anyone else purchasing cigars or anything else. The Cigars are a significantly higher price than other cigars stores and have only used his shop as it was convenient . Try "Big smoke Cigar company" @highway 27 and Highway 9 the owner there was nothing but helpful and the prices were reasonable. The owner of this place is such a rasist. He checked my ID and he found out that I was not Canadian so he did not sell anything to me. For the all the 7 minutes I was there he was acting so rude to me then when i was paying he just did not let me buy anything here. Do not go to this place.
Good selection and very helpful staff. I felt very welcome and would shop there again.
