Because of COVID-19, instead of being able to travel, we decided to get a pool. We had contacted 10 pool companies, 2 didn't return our calls, 1 made an appointment but never showed up, 5 came up with prices that were obviously over inflated. 1 company's representative actually said we couldn't put a pool in because of the grading and shape of our yard. That left us with Seaway Pools. Craig dropped by and was very professional and when I explained what the other companies had told us he understood our concerns and walked us through the whole process pointing out things we would need to consider. Obviously the biggest consideration was how long it would take because of COVID-19. He told us it would take longer simply because of how many people were, doing like us, and getting a pool. Craig didn't make any promises that he couldn't keep and we are so glad we went with Seaway Pools. His father, Gary, was on the scene all the time and any worries we had was able to help through it all and quickly came up with ideas to help us make it fit better with our dream. Ian, then came by and explained all the details on how to run the pool and was also very professional. Yes, it did take longer than expected but we understood this is a very unusual year and are very happy with the results. Thanks to the whole team even those I didn't name. We will definitely recommend you to all our friends.

I really rather to write a good review and share a great experience vs a bad one. However, this company didn’t even try to fix their own mistake, and it is annoying. I always service my pool with the other company but this time I was not able to make to them to run a pool test. Since this store was on my way, I dropped by to do a water test. They tested my water and found that the water is high in PH. I asked what I need to bring PH to normal, and they advised me on the product that reduces PH level, sure enough I bought it, trusting them that they know how to test water and knowledgeable in their industry ( was I wrong ) . Knowing the pool, I had a feeling it is wrong and the pool should have a normal PH level. So the following day, I have gone to my regular company to re-test my water and of course PH level is perfect. Therefore, I have gone back to the store next day to return the product back. The product was still fully closed and unused. I found out that they don’t take the product back even if they make a mistake on your water test, and the product is unused. The only reason I got the product is because they advised me that would fix my problem with having a high PH, otherwise I would not purchase the product. I understand, if they make a mistake, everyone is allowed to make mistakes but fix it if you made the mistake. However, now I am stuck with a product that I don’t need and can’t use. I will advise you to check the accuracy of their pool test and other stuff they are telling you before you are buying any product out of them. Unless you want to have a full collection of chemicals in your basement seating and collect dust.

I purchased a pool vacuum from Seaway which stopped working after using it twice. The employees were unable to handle the exchange and the manager was never around and didn't return my calls. Eventually I went back to the store in-person with faulty vacuum in hand and she gave me a replacement (which turned out to be another return or refurb because the packaging had been tampered with and there was grass in the filter). Regardless, I just wanted a functional vacuum so I didn't make a fuss about this. Unfortunately the second unit also failed on me after using it twice so clearly there was a manufacturing issue. When I went back to the store, ready to get a refund since I don't want another poorly manufactured vacuum, the manager quoted that they had a 1-week return policy and pointed me directly to the manufacturer to get the issue resolved. So disappointing. Horrible customer service. Terrible return / exchange policy. Stay away from this place.

After performing the duties required to open the pool, they left the unattached vacuum inside the pool (but not even hooked up?). We discovered shortly after they left that something is still off with the pool suction. Have called multiple times and sent emails to book another appointment to fix it, and have yet to hear back or even be acknowledged. Never pick up the phone when we call the store. Very disappointed with the customer service.
