Katerina has been providing private weekly vocal lessons to my 7 year old daughter for 2 years. She is a highly skilled and enthusiastic vocal coach. Katerina was able to seamlessly move to online lessons during the pandemic. Students even have the opportunity to perform in a virtual showcase. I would highly recommend Katerina for your child’s voice lessons.

Katerina is a knowledgeable, well organized, well prepared, dedicated and enthusiastic vocal instructor. I have had the experience witnessing a number of other teachers out there and can honestly say, she is excellent at what she does and has certainly found her calling. She is personally invested in the success of every one of her students and her student's individual goals becomes her own. She is flexible in incorporating pieces suggested by the student as well as guiding them towards suitable and well established curriculum. She is proactive in using resources available to her, to assist her students with conservatory exams, as well as providing additional performance opportunities for those looking to polish their presentation skills. I have seen my child's skills and confidence grow in a stress free environment and cannot foresee changing instructors anytime soon. I'm almost reluctant in leaving such a glowing review (all true and not embellished in the slightest by the way) however she insists that no matter how busy she might get, our spot is guaranteed! My child looks forward to each lesson (as I do, as a happy parental spectator). I can honestly say my child's weekly lesson has become the highlight of our week!
I've been taking vocal lessons with Katerina for 7 months over Zoom, and they're truly the highlight of my week. She's so knowledgeable, encouraging, and musically open-minded. She uses her classical training to help you get better in any genre - case in point, I've dabbled in rock, punk, pop, and musical theatre, and she has always been happy to help me optimize my technique and emotional expression for the particular song. I was very timid and awkward about singing in front of someone at first, but lessons have been unexpectedly therapeutic. Katerina encourages you to explore parts of your voice that you might not have previously liked or found useful, and she helps keep you on track with your learning goals. I also really appreciate how she helps you understand the techniques (or lack thereof) used by contemporary vocalists so you don't strain your voice trying to imitate them.
Katerina and Chris are amazing teachers! Both are musically educated professionals and musicians. I have had the great opportunity to use both their services, starting with no prior knowledge and now working towards singing and playing live in front of others in the short span of just a year. Highly recommended!
Katerina is such a kind and efficient vocal teacher! She explains things so thoroughly and I know that after every lesson I've improved. She is so encouraging throughout the whole lesson from the warm-up to the cover song or whatever we are working on at that time. We have co-written music together and she constantly encourages my creativity. Her passion for what she does shines through every time I see her. I would highly recommend her to anyone at any stage in their singing journey! I was terrified to sing in front of anyone (She was the first person to ever hear me sing) and she has given me the skill and confidence I've always wanted ️ Thank you!!
I have been singing with Katerina for over 3 years now and I plan to continue singing with her for as long as I can. Not only have I seen an improvement in my skills as a singer but I have also gained a lot of confidence in my voice. With Katerina, our lessons aren't just about singing different songs, she puts a big focus on teaching the correct techniques so her students are equipped with the skills needed to sing a variety of songs and not just one or two particular song. She is always open to explore new things and encourages her students to do the same too. I'm very grateful for having her as my voice teacher and as a friend.
I've been working with Katerina for almost 2 months now. As an older student, I needed to find a teacher that would communicate with me as an adult, as well as having the skills to teach someone older than the usual elementary/high school crowds most music schools cater to, and I found that with her! Whether it be musical theatre or pop, Katerina focuses on my voice and what works best for me and my vocal advancement. She doesn't make me focus on a certain type of music which is great too! Would highly recommend :)
I’m an artist and I started working with Katerina to prepare for live performances, and I am so happy with the amount of progress I’ve made since March. I’ve noticed improvement in myself, and have also been told by others that I’m sounding better. In 6 months Katerina has helped me significantly improve my pitch, breath support, and enunciation—all which make me a better performer.
