Poor Covid protocols in place. Two people taken through the cash line behind me before I even had a chance to pack up my groceries. I called the store when I got home to speak with the manager and had the displeasure of speaking to an extremely rude "manager". When I asked for her name so I knew who I was speaking with the answer I got was "No". I wasn't given her name (Brenda) until after I expressed my concerns. It's been awhile since I worked in retail but I don't recall that being acceptable when speaking with customers.

Shopped here a few times it's a very good clean store, Great produce here and a well stocked store . Aisles are big and uncluttered ,easy to move around. And they have real sales at discount prices . Staff were friendly.Loads of parking.

I love Food Basics they always have amazing stuff but ever since the pandemic some random person that doesn’t wear a mask ends up going there too (it’s like they know my schedule) and always follows me and sneezes behind me. I always wanna turnaround and say something because this person is putting customers and staff at risk. We’re in the middle of a pandemic and people are still complaining over a piece of fabric.

Today a very rude older man with grey hair employee was pushing a cart towards me. If I the customer didn't move he would of hit me. No excuse me or thank you.he should of moved over for me. I have had the worst customer service in that store repeatedly. I only go back for the prices. I'm now done with that store.

Truly appreciate the employees of this store. They are well mannered and helpful in my experience. Even at the height of the pandemic they kept the shelves stocked and doors open. I would give it 5 stars except you have to bag your own groceries and that's unfortunate as I am very bad at bagging them in a timely manner.
