It was a hard decision to move my dad from his home however being at Barton for over 2 yrs now, \home\ has been redefined. The Barton staff, his suite and the facility is top notch. We are very happy that with our decision!

The Barton is a fantastic place ! My father has been there for 2 years and the staff was excellent before the Covid pandemic. They really stepped up their game during the Lockdown. We always received updates on how the clients were doing. We were very impressed that there was zero infections for both staff and clients, for months. Lesley and the team at Chartwell Barton in Newmarket are tremendous in their ability to make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in the door. Lesley has been such a pleasure to deal with in all aspects of this senior community and a great support to the many people that call the Barton home.
My father is a long time resident at The Barton (almost 15 years) and I have to say that over those years, ALL of the staff have gone the extra mile in taking care of him! In recent months, the Covid pandemic has been a challenge for all of us, and The Barton family really impressed me during the lockdown with no infections and regular communications re updates to the family members. I know that working with the elderly can be a thankless job, so I wanted to take the time to tip my hat to ALL of the Barton staff members and say THANK YOU, and to keep up the good work!!
