The “clinic manager” (Central European woman, very thick accent). Very rude and snobbish for a woman of her age at least. Extremely passive aggressive, nasty attitude and just lacks tact. The place is decorated nicely, clean.. but the energy is very cold and uninviting. Not to mention they are still open and operating. Overall they play up the “nice” roll but the staff there currently, not very nice at all. Would not recommend, not under this management at least.

I don’t typically do reviews but New You deserves one for sure! The staff there is amazing in every way. They are friendly, kind, understanding, accommodating and professional. As well, they are very knowledgeable and will always direct you properly without overselling clients. My experience with this business has always been pleasant. I’m very particular so for me to admit I’ve been happy with results each time is a huge compliment on their expertise. I highly recommend to anyone.

I have been doing laser with New You for over a year now and we (my mom and i) have paid them well over 4000 CAD for our laser hair removal, first they used the wrong laser machine on me and my mother for 6 sessions (over 6 months) which showed NO RESULTS. Then when using the correct machine i finally started seeing results, i loved the technician Shanelle and she took pride in her word and in helping others see results and be happy. Recently Shanelle quit and ever since the service has declined, my latest appointment the technician was over 20 minutes late then tried rushing me to "hurry up and get ready since full body laser takes up time" not only that but i was burnt on my elbow because of the lack of consideration towards clients of ethnic race and instead caring about "finishing quick".

Update: Contacted multiple times no one picked up my calls or replied to the messages. But it is open so i don't know now what? -------------------------------- Don't waste time and money for nothing here. I visited them on August 28, 2020 for a consultation. I was very clear with what i wanted it and what was my goal. Although was instead given another option and insisted on so gave it a try and trusted them with it. I strictly followed all the instructions and never missed a session because i invested so much money and i really really needed it to work. For the whole 3 months treatment period I was concerned it was not working despite of all the efforts and constantly asked for my preferred treatment to be combined with thier recommended treatment to actually work. Yet, the consultant still insisted to keep on going and just wait for the results. I never got any results at all, nothing. Just paid a big bill, wasted 3 months and did everything as told but got nothing and then on last session when i showed my concerns they told me to still wait for 2 months to see the results and made a follow up appointment. Which i contacted them before going there the same day and was canceled saying they're closed because of covid and will be contacted back asap. Well today is March 19th and I found out the place was not closed!! And It is not close NOW either sooo Why am I not Contacted? No follow up? Oh maybe because I have payed them and now they don't care? I literally have medical proof for before, during this whole period and after the treatment that I never got any results at all. Instead having some health problems due to the procedure done. I feel the whole time they just take advantage of my situation and tricked me to what just they benefited not me. At this point I'm thinking of getting some legal advice because it's giving me even more anxiety thinking how they just faked caring until I payed and now it's like they don't know I existed???

First of all, I can only speak for this specific location, I haven't been to any other branches; everything below is my personal experience with Port Credit branch. Number 1, Way too many changes in the management and staff/technicians since I've signed up with them and a lot of new faces every 6 months, every new person brings up new rules and regulations, so no standards (For example, Upon my arrival today I was told that they don't treat full body sessions on the same day any longer so you have to come twice) Secondly Verbal statements do not mean anything here, make sure every single detail of your package is documented and you get a hard copy of these details given to you before you make your payment so you have a proof for the future managers just in case they deny what you paid for since your package will be handled by too many managers before you're done. The newest manager literally ended up blaming me for not having a written agreement that was promised by the previous manager. So whatever you speak/agree with the sales person who closes the deal with you does not mean anything here since she most likely will quit the company or get relocated in 3-6 months so you have to be prepared to protect your rights. I cannot deny that there were really successful technicians who have done good jobs during my sessions, I have to credit the staff for this but it's just the current manager that was very rude and unprofessional. She aggressively talked to oppress me so she thinks she sounds right that way...Very rude attitude...

I had only received a consultation at this location( clarkson ) to get an understanding of what my options were. To whomever I was consulted by she claimed herself as a very knowledgeable nutritionist, however she was not very educated. I had to learn that after attending other consultations with doctors and specialists. She also judged based on my race, which was also insulting and very ignorant of her - generalizing that asians bald easily and more due to the types of foods that are eaten with these two sauces "soy and teriyaki". Asians come from many different countries- that does not mean they all eat the same things. Sadly, she communicated very poorly, and could educate herself more on the matter, and also culturally diverse herself better. This speaks volumes about the business as it represents the type of clientele that they care for, or how they choose to consult verbally with clients. There needs to be a diversity training to educate stereotyping those who come in. In addition to that, with a pandemic in the world. Please wear your masks properly over your nose.
