I retained Masters to facilitate mold remediation and cleanliness certification on multiple containers of goods that imported into Canada. The locations were Vancouver, Calgary, and Toronto. They were able to travel to all locations and perform the service above and beyond expectation. Dealing with them on every level was simple and the overall experience was top notch. I highly recommend them as a vendor and if the need arises for their services again I will retain them.

The company remediated our attic professionally and were honest. They know the restoration and remediation business inside out They accommodated our very tight and last minute scheduled and were patient with our questions walking us through their process. Dion and Lucas are excellent professionals.

Got in contact and was told they needed to come out to the site to give a quote. I agreed but they didn't even get back to me to arrange a time or date. When I emailed to tell them not to come I got a response in less than 5 mins. We went with ServiceMaster instead and they're on the ball.

We are happy with the work that Dion and his team did for sure. It was not cheap by any means but I think it was worth it in the end. I also think that they have some proprietary products that were much needed for our job to be able to get into all the small places. We had some rather extensive mould issues in our 1976 Airstream. If I was going to give a super honest review, I would just add this — Dion seemed not so friendly on the phone whenever we spoke to him but in the end he was very nice and I just think maybe he’s not a phone guy (sorry Dion). Lucas however was very friendly on the phone and I think he’s the customer service guy anyway :) Thanks for helping to keep us healthy and safe as we travel around in our Airstream with our 2 little doggies.

After a leak penetrated the ceiling of my apartment from the suite above, my tenant performed a mail-in mold test and sent me the results. I found Masters through Google, and I was impressed by the responsiveness from Dion and his team. After securing a deposit, he quickly inspected my suite to provide a quote for mold remediation. I didn't hear from anyone for a few days, so I called to find out how the inspection went. I was informed they were waiting for results from the lab, which was busy because of Covid-19, etc. A few more weeks passed. When I called Dion again, he didn't remember who I was. When I reminded him, he said he'd check in on the lab. I received an invoice via email soon after asking for the remainder of the deposit so Masters would send my quote. I received the quote and, surprised by the price and scope of work (and questioning the results my tenant received), I hired an independent mold inspector to look at my suite. Meanwhile, I received daily phone calls from Masters' office person asking me when they could get started. The inspector found no evidence of mold growth, and explained how mail-in mold tests sometimes show false positives. I emailed Masters to ask to see the results of their test, and was told that their inspection was based on the result from the test my tenant performed. So then why was there a delay? And why did they mislead me about lab results? Had I not hired an independent mold inspector, I would have paid over 2,000 to Masters for a remediation that wasn't even needed -- and even more for the subsequent renovation. I'll give Dion and co. the benefit of the doubt; maybe they're not used to doing small-scale apartment jobs. But a little honesty would have gone a long way. If you're looking for someone to conduct a similar remediation, I recommend tracking down an independent mold inspector before hiring Masters.
