I rebuilt one of my decks and contacted Express Aluminum Railings for a quote on the railings. Even though they were busy, Muhammad was able to come to my house very quickly and provided a quote immediately. Not only was I very happy with the pricing but was also impressed at how knowledgeable he was and how precise he was with the measurements, etc. The railings look great and we are very happy with the overall results and quality. I plan on using them again for future work we will have and will also recommend them to family and friends.

I was referred to express aluminum railings by a relative who had a awning installed by this company. They advised me that the service they received was excellent and the quality of work was exceptional. I called the owner of the company and within a day although he had told me they were very busy he had come out and measured my job. I found him to be very helpful and provided suggestions on how to best install our glass railings within our budget. The owner would always call and provide us updates on the progress of our railings and the install date. Again I found the quality of his work to be exceptional and his customer service rated a five out of five. Note when the railing engineer came to inspect the installation he advised me that the quality of workmanship was very well done. Overall we are more than happy with the customer service and quality of work.

Paid top dollar for railings with poor welding. Apparently the reason for the poor welding is the bad power in the industrial area where they were manufactured. So, if you want clean welds on your railing, find a shop with a better connection to BC Hydro. Railings were installed unevenly (one section of the railing was 1/2 of an inch higher than the rest), so they need adjusting and yet more holes drilled into my deck and house. The gate didn't mesh with the railing so a spacer had to put in so that it would close properly and wouldn't damage the paint. Garbage from the installation was left on my property. Rubber seats for the glass weren't seated properly and I had to go around and seat them myself as they were bulging out and didn't look good. At one railing end, the bracket didn't line up with the wall very well at all so the screws had to go in on an angle through the holes (not a big deal as it was in an out of sight area, but still not the quality I was expecting for the price). Overall, the product was just okay. My wife gave it a three star rating and I went with a two star rating because the welding would have got me a fail in Grade 12. Since I wrote this review, I went with my rating. Average would be a 2.5 between the two of us.
