Went to celebrate my Dad's Birthday and to our surprise, Starlet is Re-named to "Joyful seafood restaurant" It was their first opening today. Feel joyful to witness the lion dance performance on my Dad's birthday. Same menu, same price. Awesome food and better customer service....I wish them Good luck and successful venture in the near future.

Third time here. Pretty good dim sum overall! Parking is convenient, and the wait usually isnt too long at all. We only had to wait once. Would go back again.
One of my favorite dimsum restaurants due to their great service, price and quality of their food. They do get fairly busy on weekends so make sure to make reservations ahead of time. The have the best durian mochis. They make it in-house and I’m never disappointed with them. Their baked BBQ buns are to DIE FOR as well. Great price since I spend no more than 30-40 for me and my boyfriend. Highly recommended!

First visit here. Came by last week Sunday at 11:10am and was told not to wait by table staff (would be a 1 hour wait). So decided to visit today earlier in the morning (bypassing the crowds). Arrived shortly after 9:30am. Left at 10:40am and was at 80% capacity already. Presentation of dim sum was excellent. Clean tables and great ambience. Of course, conversations start to get more vocal due to the tables filling up with patrons (but we're not here for conversation ). Back to the food. Presentation of dishes tingled the taste buds. Slightly disappointed at the quality of the food. Example, the #2 Shrimp dumplings, the "skin" wrapping the shrimp was little thicker than I expected. Shrimp texture and "crispness" was there. #27 Pan fried dumpling was more flour than filling. #11 Beef tendon could have had more flavour. For the similar price, I would have gone to Metrotown's Fortune House. Greetings by server was average. But better than most Chinese restaurant staff. Definitely a one-time only visit for me, for others a weekly get together with family. *I do miss the dimsum push carts of olden days*
Food was good and tasty but service was not so great. Always took a long time to get a waiters' attention. Food came out in a timely manner. Would think twice about going back again.
Dumplings and Dimsums are availabe til 3pm. Prawn dumplings and pork & scallop dumplings are highly recommended!
Free parking. Cc accepted. Reservation accepted. Competitive pricing. Decent food quality for the price paid.
