From our first interaction, John was incredibly friendly, knowledgable and patient. We were upfront when we said we were shopping with 3 other vendors. The information and education they gave surrounding their products, as well as the answers to my questions really impressed me. They are partnered with Costco which added to my trust as Costco offers their full backing on working with Reliable. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work and good service!

I read a lot of reviews and I'm sometimes skeptical of how authentic these 5 Star Ratings really are: but after the service I received today, I have a good feeling that all of these 5 Star reviews are genuine! If you are looking for a good HVAC company in Ottawa, then don't bother looking any further! Two days ago I lost the hot water to my place, due to a malfunctioning Tankless Water Heater. I called around and managed to find two techs from two different companies, who came out to look at it. Both of them didn't seem to have a clue, so I continued my search. I finally contacted Reliable Home Environment and within a couple of hours one of their techs arrived. As soon as I started speaking to him, I knew right away that he was a lot more knowledgeable than the last two techs I spoke to. Within 5 minutes he had properly diagnosed the problem and after 15 minutes, he had fixed the issue and I FINALLY had hot water again. All my questions were answered and then some and they were extremely fair with their pricing! I just taped their business card to my tank and they will now be my go-to for HVAC. Thank you so much and I highly recommend them!
My furnace gave out just before Christmas. I contacted Reliable Home Environment because they had replaced my hot water tank about two years ago, and I was very satisfied with their service. While the furnace I purchased was more expensive than I had expected, the quality and professionalism of Reliable was top notch ad the furnace is exceeding my expectations. Reliable removed the old furnace and put in new venting for the furnace, and because the ceiling in my mechanical room was finished, it was a challenge and took longer than expected but they did a great job and I am very satisficed with the work. They also cleaned up and re-organized the drainage in the mechanical room, making it easier to get around without tripping over drainage tubes. The furnace is very quiet and is heating areas of the house that were previously not well heated. The thermostat is also easy to operate and visually appealing, and can be controlled remotely via the internet. Overall, I'm very pleased with the furnace and the service provided by Reliable Home Environment.
Extremely professional service. For my regular maintenance, the techs are on time, efficient and the price is right. Recently had to change out my furnace and they went above and beyond to ensure I was well taken care of. Thanks to the techs on site and the office staff, my winter will be a toasty one!
Really happy with my experience with these folks. I chose them through Costco's third party services, and in addition to great value, I have the cleanest install I could imagine. They had to run a raceway outside that's very sleek. Inside, the builders AC drain was sloppy poly-pipe, whereas Ollie fitted proper ABS piping to hug the perimeter of the unit and even went as far as to secure it with screw-in zip ties. The ductwork modifications are spot on, and Gordon answered all my questions regarding the thermostat. I replaced my 20 year old working Lennox system with a new one, and I'm quite confident with the product and the installation. Five stars.
