We stayed in the Lodge at Sunshine Bay Retreat. It was just magical. The decor is super unique - funky and modern but still completely cozy and welcoming. The property is stunning and such an experience - from the adorable (and funny) llamas to the majestic meditation pond, to the private beach and dock and the ultra lush greenery all around you. They really have thought of everything - they have bikes you can use, a gorgeously stocked kitchen and bathroom, ultra cozy linens, natural beautiful soaps and shampoos, and a fabulous deck to sit out on in the mornings for coffee and at night for stargazing. Oh and we had a dance floor in the middle of our place with a full sound system - definitely had a dance party for 2 multiple times! Can’t recommend it enough - a memorable stay with fantastic hosts!

Unbelievable stay!! My fiancée and I stayed at Sunshine Bay Retreat over the summer to get away from city life. The hosts are incredibly kind and generous, and their land is perfect. You can walk right down to the beach and use their kayaks, canoes etc. or go for any of number of incredible hikes. We saw bald eagles and Osprey’s everyday, and took in the sunsets. We have been all over the world to national parks etc. and this place takes the cake. Best kept secret! Could not recommend more!!
One of the most beautiful trips I have ever taken. This is the best secret in Canada. The accommodations are also picturesque. I had the most relaxing and magical weekend at Sunshine Bay!
