We attended their winter event, but it was not as much fun as we thought it would be. You got the impression it was for a select group of people. A suspicion reinforced and validated when we overheard some of the event organizers discussing how they should no longer advertise in local papers and websites. In order to keep the event just for immediate locals, which I took to mean just the members of the riding club and their friends and family. They had some sleigh rides etc but just around a small field and were rather expensive not to mention the time spent in line to get one was about 15 times longer than the ride itself. The small petting zoo they had was cool and the kids liked seeing the ponies sheep goats rabbits and so on. The people walking horses around in the event seemed like they resented being there and your interest in the horse. Looking at you as if you were some city dwelling goof polluting their environment with your presence. It had been on our bucket list for years but after attending we kind of wish we hadn't.
