An interesting menu - I could have eaten anything ordered for me. The lamb was simply amazing: the best I've had in Canada. Great service. A wonderful dinner for the three of us. Definitely will be back when the kitchen garden is in season.

Always a great dining experience. Wednesday's are Adventure night. 50/person for a 5 course meal. Never know what they are gonna bring out. Awesome!
Had the porcupine prawns and calamari and both were unreal. Had the beet gnocchi for dinner and it looked a bit dry but was so amazing, full of flavor and the vegetables were delicious! They also made the best amaretto sour I've ever had.

This is the among best formal dining place I've been to in the Nanaimo area (but not at all pretentious – some guests wear jeans). The food is outstanding. Adventurous Wednesdays are absolutely worth trying. If you haven't been here before and are going at night, the parking lot entrance can be slightly difficult to spot. Also, if you're wearing nicer shoes, be aware the parking lot is gravel. Don't let that deter you though.
Very very nice restaurant!! great ambience lovely place to go for special occasions or anytime really. I went for my birthday and it was well worth it. There is an excellent variety of menu choices. Everything is beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Shout out to the wonderful staff great service.I would highly recommend this restaurant
We went to the Mahle house restaurant for a friend's birthday and had a great time. Unfortunately, the end of our experience left a bad taste in our mouth. The food was exceptional; the service was terrific. All the staff members we interacted with were so lovely. We were there for the Wednesday five-course chef's surprise menu, and everyone loved every course. As soon as we were done our dessert, we were asked to leave from what I assume was the manager. He had another table waiting for our table. We spent a lot of money, the five-course meal isn't cheap, and we were all having drinks. We were not loitering or spending a lot of time getting through each course and still, we were asked to leave right after we finished dessert—what a great way to ruin such an incredible experience. He even dared to wish our friend a happy birthday after instructing us to leave. VERY DISAPPOINTED!
A breath of fresh air in all this insanity. Excellent food, excellent service. A wonderful way to forget an feel normal again
