We were very happy with Coastal Energy from start to finish for our new heat pump. From initial contact with Becky in the office, Angelo for quoting and answering our numerous questions, to the installation by Devon and Chris everything was perfect. Everyone we dealt with were efficient and professional and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Our new Fujitsu system runs smoothly and is VERY quiet. We also LOVE the fact that Coastal Energy is a supporter of the BC SPCA!

Coastal stood out when I searched for home HVAC companies due to it's 5-star rating. But that wasn't from 3 or 4 reviews; literally dozens of customers raved in review after review. And, having just finished with their installation...I get it! From the quick turnaround on the initial quote (replace our original furnace, hot water to tankless conversion, adding brand-new air conditioner), details and explanations that were just one step more than the competitors, super responsiveness o questions, getting me a last-minute deal AND being really reasonable for cost, I knew ahead of time they would really good. And of course they showed up on time, they got right into it, they walked me through what they would be doing, and made me feel very confident in their expertise. When things went a little sideways with the installation (which is always going to happen to some degree when you have to run brand-new piping for an air-conditioner in a 25-year-old house!) they were professional and clear in their explanation, accommodating, and worked extra hard to still get done on time. It's easy to see why Coastal Energy has such great reviews; they work hard to earn them and offer great products at great prices. I will use them for ongoing maintenance and any future work I need, and I will definitely be recommending them to anyone I'm talking to about heating and air conditioning. 5 stars, absolutely!
punctual, intelligent service with great attitudes, wore masks. had a dogged type of attack to locate a glitch in my furnace setup that was interfering with his install. found and corrected. very professional. thanks again- tom
This is a follow up to an earlier review I had written. My initial review was not positive, to my surprise the owner Paul called me to discuss it and after we spoke for awhile he asked if he could stop by, look at my needs and offer a review. This was unexpected and very considerate of him. We meet and Paul was very thorough and professional, had my quote back to me in no time. Although I did not make a final deal with Costal Energy I believe Paul went above and beyond what most would have and I would highly recommend that you contact him if you considering a heat pump system!
A very professional group from the estimator to the office staff to the installers themselves. It's nice to feel like you have been dealt with in a fair and honest way. Just good old fashioned standards, bound to keep the customers happy.
