I used to really enjoy the baked goods here and the restaurant food was good as well, but in the past number of years the number of things made in house has declined and the overall quality of the food and grocery items has decreased. The staff here are all very pleasant however, but I am slowly moving away from shopping here since the quality has declined.

The Windmill: Wow. What a NICE place! Truly a gem. Very clean, well-organized. Great selection of quality products. Family-owned. So so many great, quality foods, pastries, baked goods, many items. Was passing through, for a very quick stop. Just browsing, but will definitely be back when next in the area. Looking forward to it! ________ 2021Jan20 So many products! I have had The Best sandwiches here - Montreal Smoke Meat, Egg salad - both SO Good. Many more. In-house fresh baked bread used in their sandwiches, fresh quailty ingredients. So many items. *You really need to make this place a destination!* Wonderful place. I can't say enough. Very friendly helpful staff.
We had a wonderful experience today. Our kids loved looking at the beautiful decor and furniture, and they were ecstatic to see the windmill actually turning. We bought some delicious cheese and found the perfect wall hanging for our recently renovated bathroom. The staff were so helpful and friendly, and even took time to package up our picture and bring it out to the vehicle for us. Five stars!
Awesome place to get your home made pies and sweet treats. I come hear all the time and i have never been disappointed. Fast and friendly service.
Stopped here after a lovely ride to Mount Pleasant from Brantford. My family loved it! Amazing staff and lots of food and treat selections.
