Amazing ski hill for families. Good snow, friendly people, not too business late in the afternoon. The kicking horse BBQ open and serving good hot chocolate.

Nice mountain with combined levels on the same descent! Good for parents going down with kids! The saturday evening special is great - 39.99 for ski lift equipment spaghetti meal! Kids didn't want to stop and enjoyed the night views!

Love this place !! Been to many of the ski hills in the 4/5 hour surroundings and this is still my favourite place to ski.

After seeing a lot of skiers without face coverings, I approached a patroller standing by the lineup and asked him: 1. Are we required to wear face coverings? He said yes. 2. Is it you who is supposed to enforce the rule? He said yes. I pointed to two groups of four directly in front of him, none of whom were wearing masks, and inquired whether he would ask them to cover their faces. His response was to ask me who I was, and whether or not I was a doctor. My girlfriend, whom I was with, is indeed a doctor! However, it should not matter who we are. He continued to ask me who I was and refused to speak to the skiers. So I took out my camera and took a photo of the group. The patroller then stepped over the rope and into the line, not to ask them to wear masks, but to tell the group that I had taken a picture of them! He then made sure to identify me by pointing at me, before walking back over the rope, past more maskless skiers, and then smugly reminding me to keep a two meter distance. Two of the men from the group then intercepted us on the hill with a barrage of insults and threats of violence. On the Le Village run later on in the night, two of the teens from the group skied at the two of us while we were stopped on the edge of the trail, with one of them riding over the back of my girlfriend’s skis. Considering these two teens had to slide on their bums down the two steep pitches of the run, I know for certain that they did not have control and could have easily injured her, rather than simply putting a deep scratch through the tails of her brand new skis. Who could we have reported these skiers to, or asked for help had we needed it? The patroller who had incited this whole situation? This patroller not only failed to do his job, but his actions brought about a situation that could have become much more serious, and frankly dangerous.
