These individuals continue to surprise me through the level of professionalism that is demonstrated in the exercising of their duties and responsibilities. I am proud to say that these individuals understand how important their roles are in enforcing the law, necessary to ensuring the safety of all individuals within their jurisdiction. I have always been proud to call them my colleagues, and now, with great pleasure I am delighted to call them my partner. I encourage everyone to continue to seek support in the Montreal police as they are able to ensure that your safety and those are of your loved ones are always the centre, the heart, of their ethical compass which they rely on as they are enforce the law. I am grateful to be reminded how safe I am, that we all are, and will continue to be due to the great members of the law enforcement community of Canada. Thank you for saving my life. Respectfully, Sheldon Caines

My wife and I would like to thank the officers of Stn 50, Stn 72, and Stn 20 that were involved with catching our lost (rescue) dog Scout in the Old Port area of Montreal. He escaped when he was being handed over to a new owner on Friday night and spent the evening outside, no doubt cold and afraid.\\ Officers from Stn 50, a dog specialist from Stn 72 were finally able to catch a very scared dog Saturday morning and bring him to Stn 20 where some very nice officers were holding him until we picked him up. I do not have the names of the officers involved, so again, a big thank you for job well done. AA & BA

Beside arresting you for something and reacting violently to someone clearly in post traumatic stress, I wanted to file a report for identity thievery, had proof of that, guessed it could be because of a malware in my portable. I was greated with the TI special agent that had no idea what was a source code and litterally had the other agent on repeat saying that nothing could be done until my money was stolen, even though an account was falsely made under my name most likely to get phone under my charge. I ended up pretty much doing all the search myself and was able to get copy of the contract signed on the internet including the IP address, which could pinpoint the place and connection used. Nice to be helped by getting money back aftter being frauded and not being proactive.

Went here with a friend to file a report for mail fraud. The officer honestly told the friend that there is probably nothing they can do. I didn't expect any more. I applaud your honesty and ability to live up to my expectations!

Worst experience I've ever had with a police department. I called to report an incident that happened to me and that made me feel unsafe. I'm new to the City of Montreal. I'm still learning French so I asked if the officer spoke English and right off the bat he sounded dismissive. Reported the incident and he talked to me as if I was a child and said he would not report it because it wasn't justified. If you don't think a report is warranted, that's fine, but don't talk to me like I'm an idiot. It's interesting because my girlfriend (who speaks French fluently) called when a similar thing happened to her and the police showed up at her door, took a statement, filed a report, and followed up.
