I think I was welcomed by the owner of the store but I am not sure. However, the person gave me a big portion of pistachio gelato. I was surprised by the quantity for the price (it doesn’t look a lot from the picture but trust me, I ordered 1 scoop when it could easily mistaken for 2 scoops). I am very happy that this store still stands during covid-19 times because it would be a bummer if it wasn’t there anymore. My pistachio gelato tasted very good and it didn’t taste artificial (like they said, it is homemade). A definite artisanal gelato store to visit when you are near the little Italy neighborhood and when you shop near Jean-Talon market :)

The price in comparison to the quality is not outstanding. Unfortunately the icecream is very sweet and overpowers the flavour of the icecream. There’s a large selection of flavours which I appreciate however there are no vegan options, which is disappointing. Coffee: really good Coconut and passion fruit: very creamy and very sweet, not much flavour Pistachio: good flavour Praline: okay
The place was nice and clean, however the gelatoes tasted a bit artificial. I went for coconut and passion fruite and I could taste the sugar more than the coconut ir passion fruit flavor. The coccnut had the coconut taste however it had like a coconut oil after taste. They were really creamy but definately overprice. And they did not have any vegan flavors so if you are vegan I wouldnt go there.
Their gelato is bomb! Hazelnut, pistachio and amaretto are my favourtie so far, but all their flavours are worth trying.
Great selection of home made ice and affogatos.
Second time I give this place a chance and it’s a fail. The ice cream is never fresh, the taste of the rum n raisin batch was completely off, subsequently my fiancé got sick.
Best coffee and gelato in the area. Try the affogato coffee and gelato mix (i chose amaretto), a house specialty. Delicious.
My favorite ice cream place when I visit Montreal. Great selection and friendly service. I would recommend Pile Ou Glace Gelateria any day.
