Had a really bad experience with this Architect and do not recommend him. From the very beginning it was problem after problem. First, he didn’t complete the plans according to our project. We were renovating our house to become a B3 usage. He made the plans as a regular house so the city and fire department refused the plans creating very unnecessary delays. This wasn’t even the worse part. Now construction is done and he refuses to sign the attestation of construction. According to the Ordre de Architect no other architect is allowed to sign off on another architects work. When trying to negotiate and making it clear that i will go to further measures the only thing he cared about was not working with threats and being trusted (as he moved but yet his business is clearly still here). If he was a professional, threats of going higher up wouldn’t even need to be made. Save your money, find someone else. He could care less about his clients.
