Repugnant book seller. The owner managed to be rude from the beginning. I told her the type of book I was looking for, she showed me three titles, never allowed me to freely look around, after the third title, she told me that she had enough, that I had no knowledge on the subject. I manage to keep me calm, the titles presented were truly irrelevant in the subject field, showing absence of knowledge but what was really shocking was how this person has no customer service vision. It's not a surprise that this place was completely empty. Do yourself a favor, not even dare to climb that stairs, very ordinary selection of titles and a good chance to be badly treated.

Shockingly rude, told me I could only go into the store if was was definitely going to by a book, I wasn't aloud to browse because she had to "sell books" which made no sense to me. She made me tell her which sections I was going to look at and watched me every second. Then kicked me out after looking for too long. avoid this place at all costs it's not worth it
Wow, so glad I read the reviews before walking into the place. Even when the proprietor's rudeness was expected, we were still shocked. Nasty and self centered are words that come to mind in describing the owner's personality. May be a worthwhile visit just to experience this firsthand.
Interesting stock, decent prices, sullen counter help. That's all right, I can't abide hoverers or any other kind of interference while book-browsing. It helps that I'm an elderly anglophone white male, enjoying the privilege of my demographic while I can. .Enter this shop in full defensive mode and you''ll do just fine.
Great book selection but the shop keeper was so damn rude! She asked my dad if he was looking around like it's a museum or a bookstore. She said "Are you here to look like it's a museum. This is a bookstore and I need to make my living." Worst customer service my dad and I have ever had. She is in training to run a used bookstore in hell and Satan wouldn't go to it.
"Lasciate ogne speranza, voi ch'intrate." Hope of a pleasant book-buying experience, that is. I really should have read the reviews before daring to enter this store. Like many others, I had a horrifying customer service experience. I mentioned what I was looking for and the proprietor not only hovered, but became upset when I balked at a 10 price tag for an edition of _Evelina_ that would have been 5 new. She proceeded to pile my arms with titles completely irrelevant to what I was looking for. When I told her - in as polite a tone as I could muster - that I was all set and not in need of any of the books there she started to yell at me. The icing on the cake was when she screamed that I may as well burn down her store because that is what I was doing by entering and not buying anything.
Worst experience ever! The owner started to yell insults at me and my wife when I didn't buy a book that she recommended
Worst bookstore ever the owner is extremely rude, cursed at me and another student we just said we would like to look around, she is not well in the head, the prices are ridiculous for such old books, I don't know how this bookstore exists, what ever you do avoid this place it should be closed down despicable service.
