Going to Ivy was one of the worst decisions in my life. The bouncer wouldn't let me in because I was drunk. Who the hell goes to a club sober? Secondly, I wasn't wasted at all. So I went back in line to informed my friends. Out of the blue the bouncer came after me, grasped my shoulders and started pushing me out of the line. I tried to stand my ground and the bouncer hit me in the face. turns out he BROKE TWO TEETH OF MINE. Absolutely atrocious.

I ABSOLUTELY HATED THIS PLACE. It's 1) ratchet as hell and 2) expensive as hell. I was really cold because I was sick and I was forced to check my coat in for 4 AFTER PAYING A HIGH COVER CHARGE even thought I tried my best to keep it on because I wanted my own coat. I however was forced to keep it on and the bouncer got rather aggressive rather quickly. Really disliked the entire staff when I went back and found the place to be overpriced, overhyped and disgusting, to be frank. Did not find a single decent person in there. I will never set foot in that place again, mark my words.
THE WORST NEW YEARS EXPERIENCE EVER. They are cheaters: 1) tickets were open bar (for 75 each), but bartenders would not serve unless you pay 1 per drink. 2) the advertisements mentioned VIP treatment, but we were made to wait in line for 45 minutes outside in -20 cold to realize that the bar is half full. 3) the ad mentioned champagne for new years count - but it was not there. DO NOT FALL INTO THIS SCAM EVER
One of the best clubs in town. Staff is great, the owner is always welcoming new DJs and the barmaids are top ! The place to be on your Saturday nights !
The male bouncer punched my gf on the nose (not by mistake). I know some people look for it. but this was not the case I assure you... When I stepped in they put a female bouncer between us so I couldn't do anything (as I obviously wouldn't use force or anything like such towards a girl.) On a second note (and I'm not going to be bias btw) the ambiance is pathetic to say the least. The DJ changes songs every 20 seconds with absolutely no skills. The drinks were lame (glass full of ice with max. two sips of drink) plus they have the audacity to overcharge them. Coat check is stupidly expensive. We paid for VIP and received no such treatment. You'd have a better time playing bingo with your grandparents than spending your Friday night at this wanna be club. The only reason why this club has a good review on google is because A Zagat User spammed the reviews. (wonder why they had to?).
Very nice place, the staff is very friendly and they have good prices for drinks, the music is good (it's full of different kind)
Lame club not even that great to begin with thought Id stop by again with a few friends from out of town got denied at the door because the fat bouncer thought I looked under 18 if you cant tell difference between a 33 year old and a 17 year old you need to find another job... Left to go get my id and she then denied my friends entry because I was with them with no id even though they had theres do your self a favor and go to apt 200 across the the street way better and no dumb fat girl bouncers power tripping this place should get shut down..
