Had an absolutely amazing experience here. Food is authentic, different, and simply amazing - every dish we tried! The kitchen is operated by mother and son. Service is great too. Prices for food and alcohol are more than reasonable. In my opinion - the best culinary experience in the village!

Visited as a party of two on a weekday evening. Server was very polite and food was delivered quickly, though he was a little forgetful, likely since he was the lone front-facing employee working. He was so pleasant that it made up for it! It also helps that the food was all top-notch. We had samosas, egg rolls, potato and green onion curry, coconut rice, and the semolina cake. I would recommend especially the samosas for their sauce, the egg rolls for the rolls themselves, and the curry because it's absolutely delicious. The semolina cake was less remarkable. Ambiance was very nice; simple yet classy. Overall, I had an excellent experience and hope to return soon.

I came across this place by accident!!!! I loved the service and the food is amazing! I took Yangon beef with butter rice and my husband took rice noodles. We also asked for house wine and it was the best wine I've tasted. We finished a bottle and asked for glass refills. The food is well presented, the portions are generous without being too big that you can't finish, the food is fresh, you can taste every flavor in your dish. And the prices are more than reasonable for the quality. The owner is passionate, very careful of his clients, and knows what he is talking about. We will surely repeat this accident! It is a must visit. Gem of Montreal!
