When I started (Montreal office), my French speaking and listening skills were not that good. However, after a while my skills greatly improved as M. Benjamin kanifrani kept the class very interactive, and he also gave me a lot of opportunities during the sessions and strongly encouraged me to talk about day to day stuff and the topics in the course. So, I would like to thank Berlitz for its choice of teachers.

I came to Berlitz to improve my French always struggling to learn languages in a group setting. I am thankful for Silvio the corp sales director's patience, charisma for helping students like me succeed. I liked the options given to me after my assessment prior to signing. We looked at group lessons and one on one where it was deemed one on one would benefit me the most. I had amazing teachers who TRULY helped me reach the next level (Thank you Jean Philippe and Capucine). I have opened more doors for work opportunities landing a new job with one of Canada's biggest telecom companies. I would recommend Berlitz to anyone wanting to learn or sharpen what they know in English or French. But you must be serious and expose yourself to the language outside of class post-lessons if it is French or English which is very easy living in Quebec. The teachers are amazing as is their CS whenever questions, obstacles arise. Thank you Silvio and the Berlitz team for everything I would definitely come back to sharpen my French further for the higher levels to land higher work positions.

I really love Berlitz! The teachers are all very good (I have had 3 different ones so far) and the learning process is easy and effective. I have made great strides in my French all thanks to Berlitz. The teachers are very good at making sure you understand a concept, and if you don't they will work on that concept with you. The material Berlitz provides to learn from is clear and keeps your experience in whatever language you want to learn in mind. My French has vastly improved since I started Berlitz, all at a rapid pace but slow enough that I don't gloss over any concepts. Berlitz really focuses on speaking and listening which is very helpful. You can practice real-world conversations with your teachers. In the material Berlitz provides they have a CD that has many scenarios of people talking and you listen to those conversations and answer questions about them. This particular method had proven very helpful in day-to-day life. Berlitz is a wonderful program.
As a language instructor at Berlitz for the last 14 years and a former French student here, I can honestly say that this school is the best in my experience. I've taught and studied at other schools, and there is no comparison. Berlitz has the best method, most knowledgeable instructors, and the friendliest customer service staff. Private classes are always tailored to the students' needs, and the group classes provide a fun, exciting way to learn and improve (and make new friends).
