I took my daughter here this morning and I was thunder struck at how amazing our breakfast was. First off our waitress was beautiful, attentive and so polite and perfect. We ordered our dishes and they came so fast. Mine was the lox with home fries and it came with fresh fruit that I didn’t even expect. Also a bagel that was perfect. The salmon was spot on with the capers and onions. My daughter had the s’mores crepe and I don’t usually eat sweet stuff but after I ate all my huge fish of food I was reluctant but tried her dish as she insisted. Well I was again shocked at how amazingly delicious it was. I ended up having to finish off the last few bites of her breakfast. It was so good it made me feel like a kid again!! I also thought the bill was going to be so much more because it was good, talk about a happy ending! I highly recommend this place!!

There are so many places to get excellent food in Montreal. But of all the places that we ate over the course of our trip the first and the last place was the best place both times. We were lucky enough to stumble upon a place called Ben and Florentine for breakfast on both our first day in Montreal and our last day and we were greeted both times by the greatest waiter we’ve ever encountered in any of the cities we visited. Martin was both courteous, kind and quick and also knew exactly what was on the menu and what would be best for us. He also didn’t hesitate to mention that the avocado might be a little bit better even though it might not be traditional for eggs Benedict, lol. The food industry is a tough business And it’s definitely worth noting when effort is put in. Thanks very much to the staff and management we had a great time.

This place is all-around decent. Food tastes great, friendly service, and a nice family-restaurant ambiance all makes it a decent experience. I can't give 5 stars though, because there were problems with the service and the food. Some of the staff had trouble communicating in English. Some fruits are not very fresh, like their avocado which was going bad, so I had to ask for fresher ones. All-around decent.

Clean and tidy. Friendly staff. Coffee was good. Food was plentiful and OK - SEE photo. Not bad value. There are better places for the same value but no complaints. WiFi was free and worked well.

Clean, spacious and friendly service. Missing stars because they don't have a physical menu but rather ask you to scan a code on the table to get it. 2 problems with this it doesn't account for people without smartphones, or people who aren't good with phones. To get access to their wifi you need to log in by your phone number, email or facebook. Overall, service was great, food was delicious and coffee was decent.
