Was expecting great food (like other restaurants in Le Central) but was thoroughly disappointed by the quality. We had papaya salad that was soggy and old (tasted like fridge), and pork rolls that spent too long in the fryer as they were completely exploded and dripping oil. Only the general Lao chicken was passable, but even then, some chicken pieces seemed undercooked. Not sure if it's an issue with the chef, but will never eat there again - supported by my wife and I stomach cramps this morning.
When I first ate at this restaurant a couple months ago it was an amazing experience. The food quality was amazing and everything I tasted was delicious. HOWEVER we ordered them today and the drop in ingrediant quality and overall dish taste was drastic. This was so dissapointing because it was a special birthday dinner and I was looking forward to eating here for so long. Maybe they are having a hard time beacuse of Covid and I am really sorry if that is true, but their prices are not worth the food that you get in return :( The pad thai tastes worse than thai express and the tofu was cardboard in taste and mouth feel.
Great offering of dishes, great taste. Super happy to find à Lao place in Montreal. However, the flavors are a bit too westernized. I had the beef laab, and papaya salad which missed that “authentic” Lao-Thai taste (being of Lao heritage, and having traveled to Laos a couple of times, I was expecting to find this taste). But don’t get me wrong, flavors are very very good, just not what I was expecting in terms of authentic Lao cuisine
SERVICE 10/10 MEAL 10/10 PRICE 10/10 I really enjoyed coming here! I had the lab salad (veganized) with mushrooms and it was one of the tastiest meals I have ever had in my life. It’s rare that I would not change anything about a meal to make it better! The service was extremely friendly and I’m so happy that they were accommodating to my dietary restrictions.
Such a great discovery over UberEats. Massive portions that will be more than one meal for sure, perfect mix of flavors and creative menu.
This place is super cool. The atmosphere is chill and relaxing while the food is amazing. Tasty and fresh! Super happy to have stumbled on this place with my boyfriend. We will definitely be returning.
Effortlessly subpar. Coupled with the abyssmal customer service, suffice to say this place left a bad taste in my mouth both figuratively and literally.
