Responsive, came late, but OVERLY expansive. Seems to put on a show to make it look like it's difficult and worth it. I was in hurry that morning so I let him extort me of 200 for 10min work (elsewhere was less than 40). He could have unlock the door in 30s but put on some show for 5min.
Was in a rush, grabbed my laptop, closed the door and locked myself out of my car with the engine running ! Called Lockmedic Montreal and 10 minutes later they arrived. Within 2 minutes using their special tools the door was opened. The speed with which they arrived and serviced the door was amazing. Outstanding service at any price !

Andre is a nice person, and came in half an hour after I made the call. Even though he had his locksmith license, he couldn't open the lock as it seemed to be jammed, so he had to break the lock to get us in. After that he replaced the broken part of lock while saying replacing the whole lock would be a bigger bill, therefore I let him finish his job. The new lock works fine, and doesn't automatically lock me out which is good. However it looks a bit different from before, and it is not as convenient as other deadbolt locks I have seen, which at least opens automatically from inside. Overall I find the service was acceptable, but the price of 350 was way too expensive for an hour's work.
