The best meal I've had in Montreal after dozens of visits. Great atmosphere, fantastic service, and incredible food. I went with a group of 14 guys and not a single one could stop talking about how great the food was. I had the calamari to start, which was fantastic. For the main I had the Ribs, and they were by far the best Ribs I've ever had. You won't regret your dining experience at Sel Gras!

The service was excellent, our server was very kind and helpful. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, it felt very relaxing and I didn't feel rushed at all. The flavor of the food was excellent. Everything paired together very nicely and was prepared very well. I would highly recommend eating here.
Randomly came upon this place while exploring mile end, and so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, we knew it was destiny. The waiter was absolutely the greatest! The food was absolutely delicious, we had the duck confit gnocchi as a starter- best thing in the world! Most had fish dishes, all delicious and perfect in their own ways with different spices and flavorings, and I had a beef dish, which had a middle eastern spice to it. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!!!!!!!
Went there for dinner. Delicious starters and main course, the dessert was very disappointing though. Highly recommend their deer meatballs and wapiti main course or the fish. The desserts unfortunately were not fresh and very low end. The staff was nice but terribly slow even though there were only three tables that night. Hard to rate a restaurant with such unequal quality for the different courses and service
Best restaurant in our week-long stay in Montreal. Every part of the meal was well thought out. Everything was so good that we asked for extra bread to wipe our plates clean.
Had brunch here on a Sunday. The brunch menu was great and we loved the food. Everything was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend it.
