One of the worst experiences. Starting with the parking, waiting 15 min to be able to get in. The parking it's like a maze , I saw people circling 3 times same path in order to find the exit from parking. Also when I exit it, waited at least another 15 min. One door that was open when I get out of the parking was closed when I get back, no indications whatsoever. I visited the external Clinique and even if there was nobody else aside myself, I waited 1h and a half. A lot of staff, but mostly they didn't seems to do much. The person that was supposed to see me wasn't there and nobody know where he was half hour after my appointment. It's a shame when you see so many health employees working so hard and people like these doing nothing, at least they can help their colleagues.

Really nice view from the room I was admitted to. Food is actually good and you have choices! Also having a room to your self and a bathroom/shower is amazing. It makes you feel like you’re not in a hospital.

I am sharing an experience where a family member was brought in by ambulance (on more than one occasion), I don't know how waiting in emergency is but my brother received great care both times at this hospital. The nurses and doctors seemed stretched thin but did the best they could. They quickly ordered tests and were prepared in case extreme measures were required and they very kind to me. We've had an experience with a different department at this hospital where they were disorganized but I can say the emergency department was on top of everything.

wow best hospital I've been - not been to more than 5 hospitals but amongst 5 hospitals ER this one is well maintained not rundown and tech savvy. Prompt and clean

I came to the hospital for an appointment at 9 am and it's currently 12 pm and am still waiting, I've seen over 100 people pass before me and am still waiting. It's been 5 months of excruciating pain and still waiting. A big massive hospital isn't the solution, but to be more organized and seeing ways how to make the hospital more effective and efficient.

Worst experience of my life. Was pregnant and had to go to the emergency for some spotting. Waited 15 hours. They were passing people that came after me , before me. I asked them why? The receptionist said that my human life and my fetus life were not considered important. Finally they brought me in a private room, no blanket, no pillow. Did an echo, sent me home, told me everything was fine, except for the fact a had a huge fibroid. 4 weeks later had a miscarriage for unknow reasons. When I asked the gynecologist at the Royal Victoria if it was possible that is was the 10 cm fibroid in my uterus. He answered me that they don't have means to investigate unless I had like 3 miscarriages. They don't care about people there, they just want your medicare. If you ever had a chance to see what they actually get paid to see a patient, you would be mortified about the service your getting. Not normal.

Honestly, having dealt with a variety of health issues over the years and been to various montreal hospitals, this is the best one. That doesn't mean it's great, it just means it's not as incredibly terrible as Lachine/Lasalle/Verdun hospitals. They are stretched thin, as is the case in all Montreal hospitals, which is not the fault of the hospital but the government and the budget. When I went there, I was lucky in that I saw a resident doctor. These doctors are always infinitely more thorough than actual doctors, actually taking the time to listen and ask questions, unlike ER regular doctors who speak to you for 5 seconds after your 8 hour wait. Our hospital system is broken, but if you have an emergency case, you should go to this hospital if it's close.

Terrible and a crime against humanity. My sister gave birth in this hospital, the treatment was inhuman and humiliating. They didn't care about her or about her pain, everything was ignored. Seriously, avoid this hospital!
