Tiny place. Good service. Food is ok but nothing extraordinary. Show is based on a lady dancing for about 30-45 minutes. Preset menu with 3 options . BYOB is a plus. Verdict : give it a try.

One of my favorite spots for excellent dining experience on Montreal. It is a complete experience with excellent food and service and very cozy and comfy seatings. Noise level is low so you have lovely background music without interruption of conversation and no distortion. Highly recommended.

We went off to Montreal for a vacation and we heard a lot of good feedback about Menthe et Couscous from friends that went there before for dinner, we asked the hotel concierge to reserve a table for 4. We went on Thursday evening and I am happy we reserved a table as it was packed and there was a waiting list. We ordered their famous appetizers plate with 4 different appetizers, then followed it by tajine lamb, couscous royal and Mediterranean grill. Excellent food. Delicious couscous and tender meat, especially their lamb. I believe it is braised for a long time you do not feel the greasy taste of lamb. Excellent service, the waitress was just talkative and friendly. Will recommend it to our friends and family for their next visit to Montreal.
