Have been there for lunch and dinner many times. They have the best rare roast beef sandwiches in Montreal IMHO. When there for dinner, I've had the steak tartar but it had far too many capers. Beef is their specialty and they have a small side-door deli.

Good food but slow and not pleseant service.
Restaurant-Taverne Magnan is the cosy place in my neighborhood where you always go when you want comfort or tavern food! Their grill techniques and meat are among the best in town, their Coquille Saint-Jacques is amazing, the price is affordable. The rosbif is just soooo good when cooked to your tastes! They also have different food themes during the year: an Octoberfest, crab month, scallops month, shrimp month, etc. They have different sections in the building to receive you depending of your mood: the tavern side when you want to watch sports on super giant screens and take a bite; the Resto-Bar side, which has a more 'sophisticated' style in decor; the family restaurant in the basement, where children are welcome; the Terrasse in summer time; and the big reception room on the second floor (where I hold my wedding party, quite a nice big room that doesn't cost a lot to reserve for special occassions!). You can also take-out their food in the small shop they opened recently in the same building, where you can buy some patés, meatpies and other meals that are their specialty.

No respect for their employees. If you have cancer, you're fired No meatless meals. WTF, even St-Hubert and Burger King and PFK, and Mc Donald have those. And yes, I did just compare their restaurant to Mc Donald.

Elle donnera plus une si bonne performance pour votre entreprise? Y EN AURA PU D'ENTREPRISE BIENTÔT! En plus, vous n'êtes pas le seul à agir ainsi! J'espère que votre entreprise coulera juste pour que ça donne l'exemple à d'autres imb.........comme vous à ne pas agir ainsi!
